Book Combo Tag!

Book Combo Tag!

Hey all!
I was recently tagged by Cloe at Mornings and Epilogues to do this tag! Thanks so much!! Make sure to check out her blog, it's great! :)

Also make sure to check the previous post and VOTE on the poll on the right! :D Thanks lovelies!

And now for the tag!

1. Which two authors would you like to see put their writing skills together and write a new book?

For me this is a pretty obvious one - Neil Gaiman and Maria Dahvana Headley! Oh my gosh if these two ever work together on a YA book, I bet it would be absolutely majestic! *-* They both have such a cool writing style and write about such unusual things, I bet that together they can come up with something amazing!

2. What's your favorite author collaboration?

Hmm... I haven't read a lot of collaborations yet, but I really enjoyed the three-way collaboration, Let It Snow, by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and and Maureen Johnson!

3. If you could combine two different stories and make them a book of their own, what would it be, and what would their combined title be?

I actually think that the combination of Percy Jackson and the Olympians and The Hunger Games could be a good combination! Like the 12 cabins could have a Hunger Games (hopefully with different rules though!!) It could be called something like Victors, or The Demigod Games? I dunno I'm awful with titles XD

Another combination I think could work really well is Divergent and Legend! Like with the same story line as Legend, with a few alterations, but the city districts become the Factions! As for a title, maybe something like Limits?

if you have a better title idea, let me know, I'm really bad at them XD

4. Which two characters from different books would you ship?

I always find this question so difficult, because I'm one of those people who will ship the characters the way the author wrote the book...
I'm kind of thinking of Meghan from the Iron Fey series and Tamani from Wings... That could be nice :)

5. Which two worlds from two different stories would you merge together to make one epic world?
I would totally merge the world from Eragon with the one from Lord of the Rings, and even a trio with the one from Throne of Glass!! (Alagaesia, Middle Earth, and Erilea) THINK OF THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES OF EPICNESS!!!

6. Which duology/triology/series could have been better as one book?

I... actually have no idea... I love series, especially when they are separated well between books!
One duology I could see being combined would be Exodus and Zenith, by Julie Bertagna, but I do like the two separate books ^-^

What do you think? Any specific things you agree or disagree on? Any questions?

My question for you is: #5 - which worlds would you combine?
Let me know! :D

  1. I LOVE YOUR ANSWER TO NUMBER 5. Seriously! That would be EPIC!!! Every single creature you can think of, plus a world of magic and adventure? It's hard to resist that idea!!!
By the way, I've nominated you for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award! Details here: http://erikabooksandstars.blogspot.ca/2015/08/sisterhood-of-world-bloggers-award.html

  2. I love the idea about the demigod games! But maybe they'd have to tweak the rules so nobody has to die painfully... I don't even know which cabin I'd support! Maybe all of them? Anyways, it sounds really cool! :)

    1. Aw thanks! I'm a cabin 3er at heart, always have been, always will be! ^-^
Yeah and maybe a system of elimination without the killing? Like an extreme capture the flag?
